Spanning five years, we’ve come together and drifted apart—now converging in a month-long exhibition that presents an ongoing process. It reflects the daily lives, shared experiences, and collective consciousness of seventeen individuals.
In the flux of everyday life, we’ve all felt our bodies out of sync with our surroundings—an unease, a sense of not quite fitting in. “Misfits,” as we call ourselves, are those who begin to notice these strange states. By documenting these moments, we attempt to shape our own ways of understanding the world. These records, formed through mutual support, carry us beyond where we could go alone, and sometimes spark unexpected connections between communities. These everyday acts of documentation seem to converge into a path—a cyclical, lived, and perhaps more intentional practice:
"Typical and Atypical" reveals the dissonance between our bodies and the world around us; thus, we move, reach out to others, and continue to experience "Mobility and Dwelling." In this way, "Queerness and Coalition" becomes both belief and response—a call for coexistence, empathy, and assemblage.
